Private Tutor

Bright Young Things Tuition will ensure that your private tutor not only supports your child's learning but also guides them towards a deeper understanding of the subject and engagement with its challenges. All Bright Young tutors are passionate about their subjects, and they love to share this enthusiasm with their pupils.

Employing a private tutor can do nothing other than benefit the student. Private tuition responds to the individual and unique needs of the student, probing their understanding and responding to their difficulties to arrive at an understanding of the subject that is complete, lasting and, importantly, engenders pride in the student's work.

Here at Bright Young Things Tuition, we are sure that all pupils can benefit from bespoke tuition. Whether you need to take the time to clarify some issues, or merely want your curiosity piqued, tuition will always be rewarding. Private tutors have extensive experience in leading a pupil through subjects which may have started to overwhelm them in the classroom, explaining the key concepts thoroughly before building upon this with ever more detailed knowledge.

Sometimes a tutor is hired to help a pupil once a week from the beginning of the academic year, as the pupil knows they struggle in one particular subject. At other times we talk to a GCSE pupil who is feeling lost at sea, one month before exams. Our private tutors have experience in both cases, and know how to quickly settle a flustered pupil and take them through the subject from the basics to the top.

One of our experienced private tutors will use a variety of teaching methods to work through difficult areas of a subject so that the core concepts remain long after the session is finished. A student will be able to, more often than not, recall facts more easily, work through problems faster, and use their initiative without relying on their classmates. This can only lead to better results. With the competition for college and university places getting ever fiercer of late, a lot of parents are turning to private tutoring in a bid to give their children the edge when it comes to the summer exams. Saying this, private tutoring offers more than just knowledge- it also provides students with the study skills which they'll need during further education, and the confidence they need to progress in life.
