History A level:
Studying this A level will give you the opportunity to understand the political, historical and cultural context of the world around you. The breadth of options and topics available is immense, and should enable you to expand your horizons as much as to focus on issues that are already of interest to you. The specifications contain a significant element of British history. A level history will develop your skills in assimilating information and critically evaluating it, and will require you to write effectively about the issues you have discovered in your essays. You will develop your research skills by working independently, and will be encouraged to consider the nature of the discipline in an abstract sense.
Please do ring us to discuss options on this course.
